Day Stay can help with issues in the early months

If you need advice on caring for your baby, our health professionals can help you with practical parenting skills such as

• Settling your baby
• Breastfeeding and bottle-feeding
• Introducing solids
• Your baby’s routine

Tresillian can also support you in dealing with:

• Relationship issues
• Coping with your new role as a parent
• Postnatal Depression
  

To utilise Tresillian’s Day Stay Program, you need a referral from your Child & Family Health Nurse, your Doctor or Paediatrician.

The Day Stay program operates between 9am and 5pm. Throughout the day, Tresillian’s team of Child and Family Health Nurses, Psychologists and Social Workers will discuss the issues concerning you and provide you with advice and strategies on how to deal with them.

The Day Stay Unit features a communal area where parent education sessions are held, along with private rooms for individual counselling.

Cost

Day Stay is a free health service to the community.
