Dads are welcome too!

Dads are becoming much more involved with the upbringing of their children whether it’s by choice, or by necessity. While for some men this comes naturally, for the majority, it’s unchartered territory!

At Tresillian, Dads are very welcome and we encourage their participation in all aspects of our programs. In our residential unit, we are able to accommodate both parents, so Dads can stay too. We also hold group sessions at nights for Dads so they understand what their partner is going through and how to manage at home.

Interestingly, in Tresillian Day Stay, more Dads than ever before are coming in with their partners to work through problems they’re having with their baby.

Building a strong family relationship when your baby is very young is so important, but that means teamwork.
