Welcome to the web-site for Population Health in the Sydney South West Area Health Service (SSWAHS).

A/Prof Peter Sainsbury is the Director, Population Health. Population Health was officially formed on March 20, 2006, following the amalgamation of the Central Sydney and the Sydney South West Area Health Services.
It comprises the Health Promotion Service, Public Health Unit, the Research, Evidence Management and Surveillance (REMS) Unit, and the Manager for HIV and Related Programs. Health is part of the SSWAHS clinical grouping of Population Health, Planning and Performance, directed by Dr Greg Stewart.
