Long Day Care
Guthrie provides Long Day Care Guthrie Child Care Centre at Wollstonecraft is Tresillian’s Long Day Care Centre. Classified as a community based Long Day Care Centre, it currently caters for 40 children. The Centre is able to care for 15 children under two, and 25 children aged between two and five years. Guthrie opens from 7.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday, 49 weeks each year. The Centre is renowned for its dynamic and caring approach to the children in its care and staff ensure many extra curricular activities are included to enhance the children’s stay. In the past some of these have included visits from the Fire Brigade, Aboriginal storytellers, a visit from an animal farm and excursions to the Babies Proms at the Sydney Opera House. Guthrie also has an active and committed Parent Committee who organise several fundraising events throughout the year. For further information contact:
