Early childhood health services provides information and support to parents and carers to encourage the optimal physical, social and emotional development of children aged 0-5 years. Services are free and confidential (no Medicare card required). 

Services  Available:

Child and Family Health Nurses provide health and support services for families and their children up to 5 years, links with other services and family supports in the local area.

Other services include, Social Work, Aboriginal Health Education, Orthoptics, Speech and Hearing clinics.

Access to Parenting Group programs available.

Access Details:

Parents and carers of children 0-5 years living within the local government areas are eligible for a service. 

Referrals by Self, Families, GP’s, Maternity Hospitals.

Opportunities for Volunteers:

Some opportunities. Applications forms and Criminal Record Check is required.
