HIV-AIDS Allied Health Team

The HIV-AIDS Allied Health service covers Central Sydney Area Health Service and provides individual, group and community development support to people with HIV, and to their carers, partners and families. This includes health care and support in the home with the aim of encouraging and maintaining independence and quality of life. The services consists of:

Location:

Redfern Community Health Centre.

Staff available:

Social workers

Physiotherapist

Occupational Therapist

Dietitian

Project Officers - Complementary Therapy and Positive Heterosexual Support.

Who is eligible:

People infected or affected by HIV/AIDS.

All services are confidential and free of charge. No Medicare card required.
